
Recipe of the Month - Teasy Spiced Pecans
Michele LillieSuch an easy but yummy snack that gets its hidden flavor punch from our Orange & Spicy tea. Your guests will be raving and wanting to know your secret.

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 egg white
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons of our Orange & Spicy tea leaves, finely ground
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Pinch of ground white pepper
- ¾ pound pecan halves
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Oil a large, flat baking pan or cookie sheet.
Step 2
Beat the egg white in a deep bowl until frothy. Add pecans, tossing to coat evenly.
Step 3
Combine sugar, tea, salt and pepper in another bowl. Add coated pecans and toss to evenly coat with the sugar mixture.
Step 4
Distribute nuts evenly on the pan and bake for 15 minutes. Remove, turning with a spatula as they cool.
Step 5
When completely cool, store in an airtight container.
